2003 First Flight Commemorative Silver Dollar Proof

This coin was minted to commemorate the 100th anniversary of historic first flight of Orville and Wilbur Wright in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina (December 17, 1903). The obverse shows the Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur, and the reverse shows the 1903 Wright Flyer over Kitty Hawk Beach.
The coin was produced at the Philadelphia mint and has a "P" mint mark. The specified weight is 26.73 grams with a composition of 90% silver / 10% copper.
